COMMITTEE CHAIR JOB DESCRIPTIONS Accessible Housing: Responsible for bringing the board current on events that are surrounding affordable housing issues. Provide information about lending, and County and State programs that will help assist people to obtain homeownership. Awards: Responsible for compiling nominee list, preparation and distribution of ballots and awards, maintaining files, scheduling meetings, and coordinating awards banquet with program chair. By-Laws: Make sure we are in compliance with WAR and NAR with our Bylaws as well as help the MLS Chair make sure MLS Rules & Regulations are in compliance. Computer Technician: Build and maintain PAAR website including members & affiliates list and updating calendar online. Communication: Send out press releases to various media and keep a copy of published press releases. Community Service: Helps coordinate various PAAR events such as "What My Home Means to Me, Affiliate Appreciation Day, The Relay for Life, & Oktoberfest. Education: Responsible for scheduling and organizing a minimum of 30 clock hours of continuing education per year on the Peninsula in conjunction with the Sequim Education Committee. Membership: Responsible for providing service and information to all new members. Duties include reviewing licenses in each Brokerage, applications, issuing PAAR materials, and overseeing the new Realtor® orientations. RPAC: Develops and coordinates fundraising plan and speaks on behalf of RPAC. Scholarship: Responsible for coordinating with the high school to obtain scholarship notebooks and appoint a team of four(4) from agents & affiliates to review scholarship notebooks.
